Research and Community Coordinator

We are seeking applications from passionate urbanists to join our team! The Research and Community Coordinator aids Our Future Cities in research, data analysis, community engagement, and reporting for urban projects. They help produce communication materials, organise stakeholder engagements, and provide administrative support, including event planning and document management. This role is key to fostering coordination and communication, supporting the mission to create exciting, joyful and nurturing cities.

Project Manager

The Project Manager at Our Future Cities is an urbanist who will lead project management and administration and support research and client engagement across our projects. This role is pivotal in crafting and executing placemaking, urban development and communication projects, ensuring they align with the vision of creating vibrant, nurturing, and joyful cities. The Project Manager will be integral in amplifying the impact of projects, while maintaining key relationships, and advancing our mission.

Our Future Cities offers an internship programme for people interested in gaining theoretical and practical experience in various aspects of city-making and urbanism. The programme comprises structured learning, skills development, mentorship and projects experience, and is based in Cape Town, South Africa.
