Good Hood Stories Season 4 launched by SA Cities Network and Our Future Cities

Fresh from its global premiere at the World Urban Forum in Baku, Our Future Cities is proud to launch Good Hood Stories Season 4, featuring two new short films that showcase how communities, local organisations and municipalities are working together to create safer, more inclusive and more resilient neighbourhoods.

The latest season takes viewers from Cape Town’s Cape Flats to Phola Park in Buffalo City, highlighting the power of placemaking and community-led action in shaping better places.

Featuring contributions from People’s Environmental Planning, Mikal Bell, Kathryn Ewing, LightUp, Stephanie Briers and Noah Schermbrucker, Afesis, and more, the film showcases the collaborative efforts behind these community-driven projects.

Hosted and directed by Rashiq Fataar, and supported and funded by the Department of Human Settlements and the South African Cities Network, Good Hood Stories Season 4 continues to document the people, partnerships and ideas shaping more inclusive cities.
